General Information:

  • This model was painted all "Phantom Black."
  • The serial number was on a plate riveted to the swivel bracket above and between the clamp screws..
  • Serial numbers 2559001 thru 2670574 were 1969 models.
  • 1969 Merc 800's were only produced as Merc 800E (Electric Starting, Short Shaft, with Alternator) and Merc 800EL (Electric Starting, Long Shaft, with Alternator).
