General Information:
- This model is most often seen in "Mercury Green" & "Dull Aluminum" (pictured above) or "Sunset Orange" & "Sand Tan." It could possibly also have been produced in "Sarasota Blue" & "Sand Tan" or "Marlin Blue" & "Gulf Blue".
- Model & serial numbers were on the instruction plate riveted to the swivel bracket above and between the clamp screws..
- Serial numbers 831021 thru 899949 were 1955 models.
- Mark 55 models were Manual Starting.
- Electric Starting with Alternator Mark 55E models were also produced.
