- Serial numbers 1812754 thru 1976426 were 1965 models.
- Serial numbers 1976427 thru 2090970 were 1966 models.
- Merc 350's were produced as Merc 350M (Manual Starting, Short Shaft), Merc 350ML (Manual Starting, Long Shaft), Merc 350S (Electric Starting, Short Shaft, without Alternator), as well as Merc 350SL (Electric Starting, Long Shaft, without Alternator).
