General Information:

• This model was painted all "Phantom Black."
• The serial number was on a plate riveted to the swivel bracket above and between the clamp screws.
• Serial numbers 3502806 thru 3752619 were 1973 models.
• Merc 1500E (Short Shaft, Electric Starting with Alternator) and Merc 1500EL (Long Shaft, Electric Starting with Alternator) models were produced.  These motors were also produced with factory installed power trim.
