• The serial number was on a plate riveted to the swivel bracket above and between the clamp screws.
• Serial numbers 2111588 thru 2318585 were 1967 models.
• Merc 950E-SS Short Shaft, Electric Starting with Alternator and Merc 950EL-SS Long Shaft, Electric Starting with Alternator models were produced.
