• The serial number was on a plate riveted to the swivel bracket above and between the clamp screws.
• Serial numbers 2113898 thru 2314955 were 1967 models.
• Merc 1100E-SS Short Shaft, Electric Starting with Alternator and Merc 1100EL-SS Long Shaft, Electric Starting with Alternator models were produced.
